09/28/2022 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic (2023) Anane is a 2023 OF/RHP who showcased his skills at the Arizona Fall Classic. Ran his 60-yard dash to in 6.84 seconds. In the OF, he gets good reads on balls off the bat, with quick feet, and shows ability to run down baseballs. He works to get behind ball and plays through with momentum to his target. He gets rid of ball and makes accurate throws into infield with an arm velocity up to 90mph. A switch-hitter, from the right side he hits from an athletic and even stance. A lower half driven swing with good barrel control. He hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 85mph. From the left side, he hits from an athletic and even stance with high hand set. He has a compact swing and is centered at contact. Good hip rotation enables him to hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 89mph during BP. During the games, he reached base 4 times with 2 doubles, and 2 singles. He added 2 stolen bases. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch. He gathers over the rubber, with a clean leg lift, and has a controlled landing. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 74mph and a changeup with arm side run that he throws with FB arm speed. With another year of growth and development, we foresee Anane having opportunities to play at the next level.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Anane is a solid switch-hitting OF prospect in the 2023 class. Recently, his skill set was on display at the FL Preseason All-American Tournament. In the OF, Anane can cover from gap to line (6.91) with his active feet. Shows to get reads off the bat and take aggressive angles and routes to the baseball. Fields in an athletic stance and chops feet well behind the baseball prior to catch. He can catch and redirect the baseball quickly with cleans exchanges and a loose high ¾ arm slot. His throws are accurate and to his targets with plenty of arm strength. At the plate, is a mature hitter from both sides. He has an athletic set-up and loads properly. Uses a centered balance approach and transitions to a short quick barrel path. Using his lower half on each side can increase power. For now, he displays the ability to spray the baseball to all parts of the field and in time, should develop gap power based upon skill set. Overall, Anane is a great prospect who attracted the attention of several scouts with his performance.

09/22/2021 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Anane continues to showcase his baseball tools at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind and plays through, creating momentum to his target. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips (89 mph velocity) throws on a line through his target. He reads balls well off the bat and utilizes his foot quickness (6.94 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery (88 mph exit velocity) is short/quick with aggression as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field. On the mound, he shows a controlled, repeatable delivery allowing his quick arm action to work well to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 76-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is outstanding as he throws strikes with all his pitches. He shows a great feel for pitching and maintains composure on the bump. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West) Anane is a 2023 OF/RHP. Medium frame athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 7.00 60-yard dash. Primary OF with smooth and efficient actions. Athletic fielding position who works behind and through the ball. Short arm action and quick release who throws ball into infield at 87mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch, shows some athleticism with a quick delivery. Uses a full arm stroke with good arm speed out front from a 3/4 arm slot. Flashed a 10/4 curveball and changeup with FB arm speed. Switch-hitter with a square and athletic stance. Finds the barrel regularly with forceful contact from both sides of plate. Obvious strength in the hands, level bat path with middle to pull side approach. Fires the hips well and hits off firm front side. Young prospect with quality skills that project well at the next level with added physical maturity.

09/16/2020 - Pathway AZ Underclass - 16U Anane continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.22 runner. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking balls down. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. At the plate, he shows as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 75-76 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but slight sink. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

07/17/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Anane is an athletic and talented 2023 2-way prospect that works hard and made several adjustments throughout the week at pirate city. In the OF, Anane is on time with his prep step, he's aggressive to the ball, and takes good routes to the ball. He works behind the ball and creates momentum in his lower half when throwing to the bases. He needs to continue working on his first step quickness and increase overall arm strength. At the plate, Anane has a very similar swing from both sides of the plate. On the right side of the plate, he starts in a crouched position, loads his hands back, and keeps his head down at contact. He needs to continue to create back hip rotation and stay balanced through contact. From the left side, he starts in a crouched stance, keeps the barrel on plane, and drives the ball to the pull side. He needs to continue to attack the inside part of the ball and create back hip rotation. On the bump, Anane gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and drive the back leg toward the plate. His fastball sits 69-70 mph, he's got tight spin on his breaking ball, and gets a nice tumble effect on his knuckleball. Anane will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

07/05/2018 - California Select Training & Competition - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Anane continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has the makings of a special type player. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / fluid actions. He utilizes his quick feet in covering a lot of ground and makes the routine plays. He shows good game awareness and does a nice job of backing up bases. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved from both sides. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. At the event, he was 5 for 6 with a 3B and 2B. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 71 mph. fastball showed a range of 68-71 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with tailing action. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

01/15/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Mesa (Phoenix), AZ Anane is a long, athletic, 2-way player who plays OF and RHP. In the OF, Anane has athletic actions, active feet, and he presents his glove well. He attacks aggressively, fields out in front, and throws with accuracy and carry to his target. On the mound, Anane has a loose/clean arm action, a good delivery toward home, and he rotates well through toward his target. Offensively, Anane can switch hit and is equally as good from both sides. From the left, he has loose hands, a middle approach, and he swings in good rhythm. From the right side of the plate, Anane has level shoulders, good hip rotation, and he gets extension through the ball. Overall skills can get better with wok on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
