01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament AJ is a talented 6ft 175 3B/RHP out of Margate, FL in the 2025 class. He recently impressed scouts with his level of play at the BF Preseason All American event at IMG Academy. In the field, he has quick feet (7.19 runner) and gains ground well. Creates soft hands and can redirect the baseball with quick and clean actions. Shows athletic ability by using numerous arm slots based upon his defensive zone. Demonstrates accuracy and his ball has life across the diamond. On the mound, he works downhill and mixes his pitches well. Operates with a 3 qtr slot with a two-pitch mix. His FB touched 80 while sitting 75-78. FB has arm side run and works both sides of the plate. His breaking pitch shaped at 10-4 and has solid spin rate at 63-4. Had 3 K’s in three innings and competed well. At the plate, he begins in a squared stance and gets into his load well. He tracks the baseball well and engages his lower half. His hands get into the slot well and gains excellent extension. Bat speed plays at 84 exit velo and creates hard line drive production. Overall, AJ is a solid two-way player in the 2025 class and scouts feel he's highly projectable.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
