03/24/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Harmony (Pittsburgh), PA Andrew is an athletic, 2-way player who plays 3B and RHP. Defensively, Andrew has fluid footwork, agile movements, and he fields low and athletically. He has soft hands, a clean exchange, and an accurate arm with momentum across the diamond. On the mound, Andrew has good balance, a loose/free arm circle, and he separates on time. He works on a downhill plane, gets good extension, and has a controlled landing toward the plate. Offensively, Andrew has an open/athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings aggressively. He has fast bat speed, a short/direct barrel, and he makes hard/consistent contact. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
