07/19/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Houston, TX Andrew is an OF/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame athletic build, with strength present, and room to add more strength. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. In the OF, starts with quick/active feet and a good 1st step. Flips his hips and covers ground in all directions. He works behind/through the baseball while keeping his feet moving throughout. Aggressive routes to ground balls with ability to pick out hops. Athletic/square fielding position, with a live arm, and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Accurate/on-line throws, with momentum, into infield at 87mph. Huge upside in the OF for this player. A right-handed pitcher who works fast and keeps eyes on target throughout. Has a good rear hip coil as he incorporates his lower half well. Works off of a FB that sat 74-75mph with good sink and ability to work in and out. Flashed an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup he throws with FB arm speed and some arm side run. FB was best pitch during his bullpen session. At the plate, this right-handed hitter sets up with an even and upright stance. Good setup, with a simple/repeatable swing, and has an oppo approach. Hits into a front side and gets good extension with a high finish. Ability to backspin line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 84mph. With continued growth and development, we foresee this 2-way prospect having opportunities to play at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
