01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Andrew is a 3B who showed as a prospect at the All-America Pre-Season Tournament. At the plate – he shows an athletic setup and displays rhythm to his load. Hands are quick (94 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. At 3B, he has plus lateral range (7.13 60 time), working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping (88 mph velocity) across the diamond.

08/10/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Frederick, MD Andrew is a corner infielder who can swing it. At the plate, he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack, crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park. At 3B, he has plus lateral range (7.08 60 time) for a big guy, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping (84 mph velocity) across the diamond. A projectable 3B, Andrew has big upside with the makings of a special type player that will get looks from top collegiate coaches.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Andrew is an athletic 2022 3B prospect. At the hot corner, Andrew is on time with his prep step, starts on the balls of his feet, and he presents a low/early glove. He creates good angles to the ball, has a clean exchange, and makes accurate throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate, Andrew starts in a crouched stance, has a simple load, and attacks the inside part of the ball. He has a direct swing path, fast hands, and looks to drive the ball to all fields. Andrew is highly competitive and we hope to see his progress in the future.

10/23/2019 - Under Armour SoCal Classic, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Andrew continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. At 3B, defensive abilities are now well above average as he presents his glove out front to field. He has a quick release and allows his throws to remain accurate and carry (82 mph velocity) through his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through a crouched setup. He is smooth getting into his load and comes through the zone well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing to the ball with fast bat speed (93 mph exit velocity) which leads to hard contact and gap-to-gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

05/19/2019 - College PREP - Poughkeepsie, NY Andrew is a 3B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he has plus lateral range, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires throws across the diamond but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate - he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack - crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 87 mph). A projectable 3B - Andrew has the makings of a special type player with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
