01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
Andrew is an athletic SS/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during his time at the Under Armour All-American Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Andrew shows efficient footwork and fields in an athletic position with soft hands. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry across the diamond. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a smooth swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact and solid pop to his pull side. On the mound, Andrew gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and works to keep his pitches around the zone. Andrew shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph. Breaking ball sits at 71mph with 9-3 break. Changeup sits at 69mph. Overall, Andrew is a talented prospect who should find success in this, his senior season.

Andrew continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the MIF, he uses his quick / athletic feet well in his lateral movements as he covers a lot of ground, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process as he shows big play potential. Arm strength is outstanding as indicated by his top 85 mph velocity. Throws display life, accuracy, and on line carry as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) generating bat speed through a direct / level swing path. He has strength in his swing and works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields, displaying gap to gap pop. Andrew will get looks from the top collegiate coaches with his baseball tools.

Andrew continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has the makings to be a special type player at the next level. Defensive grades have improved, now showing as superior skills as he displays clean / smooth actions. He utilizes his quick / athletic feet well in attacking ground balls, plays through well, and presents soft / clean hands well out front. Lateral movements are a plus as he displays range and shows big play potential in the MIF. Arm strength is outstanding (86 mph velocity) with throws displaying accuracy, life, and on line carry as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, power grades have improved to well above average through a squared / athletic setup. Hands are quick (89 mph exit velocity), generating bat speed through a level swing path. Lower half works well through the swing and he shows good barrel accuracy with baseball exploding off the bat when centered with gap-to-gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a gamer and is very coachable and works extremely hard.
01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament
Andrew showed in the MIF at the Preseason All American Rookie event and continues to show solid play in his baseball tools. At the plate, hands are quick, generating bat speed through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off the bat when centered. He works to keep hand inside the ball to utilize all fields and displaying gap to gap pop. At SS, he is fundamentally sound, displaying smooth fluid actions. Feet are active and aggressive in attacking, playing through balls while presenting soft hands well out front. He moves well laterally with hands / feet working well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and on line carry to his throws. Andrew is a sure player to follow and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to develop.
09/30/2015 - Arizona Freshman/Sophomore Fall Classic
Andrew continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities with a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he has improved the most, now showing well above average hitting abilities with solid power potential through an athletic setup. He shows an aggressive approach with hands working through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and makes consistent contact as he works to keep hands inside the ball utilizing all fields. At the event, he has an outstanding tournament, going was 5 for 6 with 2 BB. At SS, he utilizes his quick feet well in his lateral movements, displaying range in the MIF and is not afraid to get dirty, laying out for balls. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process as he presents glove well out front. Actions are aggressive as he attacks balls and shows off athletic abilities on back hand play. Mental makeup continues to show as a plus tool as he plays with high energy and is very coachable.
07/14/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1
Andrew showed as a strong left handed hitting SS that had a good baseball IQ and lots of present talent. Offensively, he consistently barreled balls up with his athletic frame and rotated his core to get the barrel through the zone. He used all fields and had a good idea/approach to hit. At short, he had sure hands and threw with momentum to his target. He took good angles with quick feet and good body control. In all - Andrew has present tools and a frame that should be ready to perform at a high level this spring.
01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament
Andrew continues to impress coaches with his talents as a 2019 SS. At the plate, this LHH showed a smooth, square lefty stroke with loose hands and the ability to use all fields. He gets into a solid power position with pull side pop will appear as he continues to gain strength. At SS, Andrew works from athletic stance around the ball from right to left. He takes good angles on balls in the hole with sure hands. His feet are active on the transfer with accuracy/carry on his throws. Andrew continues to make adjustments and improve his game each outing. The sky is the limit for this 2019 SS.
12/27/2014 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2
Andrew is a very talented, versatile young player. Defensively, as a SS, Andrew has great hands, plus range in both directions and a quick, clean release. Sometimes he can get caught on heels but not very often. Focusing on polishing his footwork and working through the ball and moving towards the target will help him excel defensively. At the plate, Andrew has great bat speed and has a smooth left handed swing. He loads properly and moves with good rhythm. He is a consistent line drive hitter who shows the potential for good power in the future. Andrew shows up everyday to work hard and improve and his baseball instincts are through the roof.

Andrew is a solid young infielder with sound fundementals. His pre pitch actions are proper, he fields with the proper footwork and has a good arm. Andrew can also work to polish his mechanics to strive to be successful at the next level. At the plate, he swings aggressively, has great rhythm and gets himself ready to drive each pitch. Andrew can focus on his swing path a bit to make it more consistent and he needs to square up his shoulders. He has alot of upside and will be one to follow.

Andrew is a skilled 2-way player as a C/SS. With the bat, this LHH shows a balanced approach with a solid base. Barrel delivery is short/direct as he squares the ball up. Behind the dish, he sits in well and tracks the ball into the zone. He gains ground toward his target, has a clean exchange, and delivers accurate throws down to 2B (pop times of 2.50). At SS, Andrew has good prep footwork to put him into position behind the ground ball. He fields the ball cleanly and works through toward his target. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.
