07/25/2012 - Interactive Video Program - Frederick, MD Andrew is a young SS with a thin / solid frame. Defensively, Andrew has soft hands, active feet, and he fields in a low / athletic position. He has a clean exchange, and throws with a loose arm and accuracy to his target. Offensively, Andrew has a square set-up, good balance, and average bat speed. He has a level swing and uses some lower 1/2. Abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
