07/07/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory's National West Showcase Andrew showed well at the Baseball Factory West Showcase displaying a complete all-around skill set. Only a 2022 grad he posted some good metrics with 90 mph raw arm strength, 88 mph exit velocity, a 1.96 time to 2B in the workout and even ran an impressive 7.06 in the 60. Andrew's swing has rhythm and his hands generate good barrel speed through the hitting zone. He doubled in the live at bats and showed he was capable of handling good pitching as a receiver behind the plate. Overall, this is a young prospect to continue to follow closely.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
