08/02/2015 - College PREP - Dublin (Columbus), OH Andrew is a talented, R/R OF prospect who has a strong/athletic build (5'9"/180). With the bat, this RH swinger shows a balanced setup with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an aggressive hack on a short/direct path as he connects and drives the ball with pop. He hits the ball where it's pitched and uses the whole field. In the OF, Andrew takes a quick first step with solid routes/angles to track down fly-balls. He works behind the ball, gathers well and gains ground toward his target. Andrew is a solid athlete whose skills with translate well into the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
