05/14/2023 - National Showcase - San Francisco, CA Andrew is a talented 2B/RHP in the 2025 class. In the field, he has quick and active feet with agile movements. Gains an athletic fielding position with strong pocket feel. Works well to his arm and glove side. His exchanges are quick and shows excellent ability by using multiple arm slots based upon his defensive zone. Shows a next level arm at 80 velo and is accurate to the targets. Has bag awareness on his spins and feeds. On the mound, he shows a great arm slot and uses his lower half well. His FB sat 78 with tailing actions in the zone. His knuckle curve has 11-5 shape and was in the zone at 63-6. Slider sat 73 and can be an out pitch for him. At the plate, he has a short stride and quick hands (83 exit velo). Has a direct path and gain proper extension. Creates hard line drive contact and can use the whole field. Overall, Andrew is a must watch player in the 2025 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
