09/16/2018 - National Tryout Plus - Springfield (Boston) , MA Anthony threw off the mound during his last workout with The Factory. On the mound, Anthony works in quick tempo, he has a quick/clean arm action, and good direction toward home plate. He has a controlled landing, and is around the zone with all of his pitches. Offensively, Anthony has a square set-up, he loads well, and has fast bat speed. He makes level/consistent contact and he uses his lower body.

06/26/2018 - National Tryout Plus - New Britain, CT Anthony is a talented RHP/OF prospect who has a lean build. On the mound, Anthony has an on-time delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He extends through his release and stays square to home plate. Anthony has a controlled landing with the proper stride. He does a nice job rotating with his core towards his target as he finishes. Anthony commands his fastball and late breaking curveball. Offensively, Anthony has a crouched, athletic stance with a centered balance. He has a load with an on-time stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Anthony shows fast bat speed with a short, on-plane swing path producing hard contact. He is a line drive type hitter who has an aggressive approach. Overall, Anthony has a well-rounded skill set and the right approach giving him a bright future on the diamond.

03/25/2018 - National Tryout Plus - Middletown, CT Anthony continues to show improvement in his game. At the plate, Anthony shows quick hands and fast bat speed, staying short to the ball and getting on plane early. His lower half stays firm and keeps his back side engaged. Anthony will see more consistently hard-hit balls with a smoother stride/load. In the OF, Anthony shows active feet and is aggressive as he takes proper routes to the ball. Anthony will make more plays by playing through the ball and will see more accuracy by getting on top of his throws. On the mound, Anthony shows athletic movements, hiding the ball well. He throws three pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot (FB, SL and CB). Anthony will see more accuracy with a smoother delivery and by keeping his eyes on his target. Anthony shows a lot of promise in his game and will benefit from more development.

11/12/2017 - National Tryout Plus - Middletown, CT Anthony showed improvements both offensively and defensively during his last workout in Middletown. Offensively, Anthony has quick hands, fast bat speed, and shows the ability to make hard/consistent contact. He has good balance, a firm lower , and has good feel for the barrel. In the OF, Anthony is quick to the ball, he reads it off the bat well, and takes proper routes. He attacks aggressively, has a clean exchange, and he throws with accuracy and consistency to his target. On the mound, Anthony is aggressive in the zone, he competes well, and mixes his SL in appropriately. Anthony will be a nice player to watch as he continues to age and mature.

07/18/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Anthony is a lean RHP/OF who will graduate in 2021. In the OF, he utilizes his athletic feet well in tracking down balls through proper routes / angles and utilizes two hands well through the fielding process. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared / athletic setup with rhythm. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently through the lower half. On the mound, he continues to shine through a sound / repeatable delivery. Fastball shows a range of 70-72 mph. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 4 years to further develop, Anthony has abilities with time and room to continue to improve.
