06/05/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida AJ continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way (6.63 60 time). He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. Throws are accurate with on line zip (92 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression as he connects with power driving (95 mph exit velocity) to all parts of the field. AJ has the makings of a special type player with the makings of a solid draft pick in 2020.

09/15/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures East AJ put on an impressive display at the UA BF Futures event. Strength is the name of the game for him - from his strong 6'1"/195-pouind frame, to 96 mph exit velocity, 90 mph arm strength, and grip strengths of 144L/162R. The strength plays, as he is athletic (6.82 in the 60) and has a solid right-handed swing that allows him to get to his power. The ball is extremely loud off his bat and AJ looks to do damage each time he steps into the box. Defensively he takes good routes and angles, closing on balls well. His arm is strong and accurate with throws delivered after a clean, efficient release. AJ is an OF prospect to keep an eye on - he's a middle-of-the-order bat with an all-around skill set.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
