08/02/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Anthony continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At the plate is where he continues to show best through a tall, squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He shows good plate discipline and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Behind the plate, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 1.95. Feet are active working in line through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. He will control the running game with his feet / arm. Glove action is soft as he sticks balls well in the zone. He uses his body well through the blocking process and is a wall behind the dish. At 3B, feet are active as he works through a low approach. He moves well laterally and presents a soft glove well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
