01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Anthony continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. Transfer is quick as he zips throws across the diamond. At the plate, he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Hands are quick (87 mph exit velocity) and he has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing as he maintains balance. Anthony has potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

10/03/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lake Zurich (Chicago), IL Anthony continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean presents out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, hitting / power potential are outstanding through a squared setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through aggressive path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing as he maintains balance.

09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Anthony is a SS prospect who showcased his skills during the All-Region Tournament. In the field, Anthony takes good angles and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he makes accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up with his hands held high. He engages his lower half well and generates fast bat speed through the zone, driving the ball to all fields. Overall, Anthony is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

12/20/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Anthony is a coachable SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. In the field, Anthony shows quick footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is quick and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/strong through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He gets his hands activated in his load and remains centered in his lower half. He works through a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent line drives. Overall, Anthony is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

09/20/2020 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Schaumburg (Chicago), IL Anthony continues to progress on the diamond. Defensively, he has active prep and takes good angles to put himself into an athletic fielding position. Hands are presented out in front as he gathers smoothly and has a clean transfer to throw. As a hitter, this righty displays an athletic stance with active hands to load. He whips the barrel and engages his lower 1/2, connecting and showing some pop to his pull-side. Font has a solid skill-set with upside.

05/27/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Jupiter, FL Anthony showed solid improvements and overall skills during his last workout with The Factory. He raised velocity to 69 MPH, fielding grade to 38, and ran his fastest 60 to date at 7.85 seconds. Defensively, Anthony has quick/fluid feet, agile movements, and a soft/presentable glove. He fields athletically, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a quick arm action with carry to his target. At the plate, Anthony has an athletic set-up, good balance, and explosive bat speed. He makes hard/direct contact and uses his lower body. Overall skills can continue to improve with work on the following.

12/20/2018 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Anthony is an athletic and talented 2023 Infield prospect that has a high baseball IQ. At 2B, Anthony is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and has range on both sides of the glove. He showed off his athleticism by making several good plays in the hole. At the plate, Anthony has an athletic stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and has a simple approach. He attacks the inside part of the ball but needs to continue to create backside drive in order to drive the ball more consistently. Anthony is a true grinder and will continue to improve with experience.

11/11/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Davie, FL Anthony is an athletic SS with good skills. Defensively, Anthony has presentable hands, active feet, and he attacks the ball aggressively. He covers ground, makes plays, and throws with accuracy from a loose arm action to his target. Offensively, Anthony has a square set-up, a short stride, and good balance. He keeps his head still, has a square/direct barrel through the ball, and he hits line drives. Anthony can continue to get better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
