09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Anthony is a 2024 prospect as a MIF. He has a projectable frame with room for growth. Defensively, Anthony showed a strong/accurate arm topping out at 85 MPH across the diamond. His short, quick arm action allows hime to throw from different arm angles consistently. At the dish, he displayed a line drive approach with the ability to hit to all fields. His load was slow and smooth allowing him to repeat for consistent contact. Continued strength training will help continue to take Anthony's game to the next level. All in all, Anthony is a promising prospect who's game will only continue to improve with time.

06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Anthony is a SS in the class of 2024. He showed off a good frame with room to grow into. In the field, he showed plus arm strength across the infield and was up to 85 MPH. He showed a good ability to field the ball in the center of his body and funnel the baseball into his body. He had a short and quick arm action before delivering accurate strikes across the diamond. At the plate, he showed a good feel for the barrel and created loud contact (86 MPH exit velo). He showed a good feel for his load and had simple and repeatable timing. Anthony is a very good prospect that will continue to develop in the coming years.

02/28/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Anthony continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.20 runner. At SS, he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate with carry (82 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate he shows an athletic, open setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Anthony is a MIF prospect who showed well during the Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament. In the field, Anthony takes good angles to the ball and makes the routine plays. He throws from over the top and works to make accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to strong pull side power. Overall, Anthony is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

12/12/2020 - Florida Regional Offensive Skills Weekend Anthony swings the bat with intent through a squared athletic setup. He loads well and stays connected with hands working through a level swing path. Hands are quick and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

08/30/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Bradenton (Tampa), FL Anthony is a SS prospect who will graduate in 2024. In the field, Anthony shows efficient footwork and moves well to his glove side. He fields the ball out in front of his body and has a clean exchange. He gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Anthony field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting into his load and gets good extension through the ball with fast bat speed, leading to solid contact to his pull side. Anthony can barrel up more baseballs by maintaining center balance throughout his swing. Overall, Anthony is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
