12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Anthony is a 2028 SS who showcased his skills during the BF East Coast Winter Classic. At SS he works to center the baseball and has efficient footwork. Showed some arm strength on his throws to first base with an arm velocity up to 69mph. At the plate he hits from a square stance with high hands. Has a controlled load and gets knob to C. Is aggressive in the box with some juice in bat. In live game action he reached base 4 times with 2 singles and 2 walks. We look forward to seeing him at another event in the near future.

09/24/2023 - National Showcase - Cleveland, OH Anthony is a 5 ft 7/165 SS in the 2028 class. In the field, he plays with energy and competes on every pitch. Scouts like his competitiveness and trust he will not take a single pitch off. He moves well to his glove side and squares his body to the baseball. Show a long 3qtr. slot on his release at 68 velo. Working to sink his hips and field out in front will help with hop adjustments. At the plate, he begins with an open stance and stays inside his feet well. Path is short and he controls the barrel well. Can use all fields and with more of a hand load, he can drive the baseball more. Overall, Anthony id a young player and with more reps and strength, he can become a fine player in the 2028 class.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
