10/29/2023 - National Showcase - San Marcos (San Diego), CA Antionio is a tall (6ft 4/210) and physical 1B in the 2025 class. In the field, his feet work well with his body and he covers his defensive zone well. His pocket has feel and he sees the ball in from a low and athletic fielding position. His exchanges are clean and he gains a long and whippy arm action from a high 3qtr. slot. Working to shuffle his feet will create a full leg drive and increase carry on the baseball. At the plate, he shows a simple and powerful swing from the left-side. His bat path i is short and he creates a strong barrel with solid extension. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
