01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Ashton is a 2023 OF prospect out of Overland Park, KS who showcased his skills at the Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-American Tournament. A left-handed hitter, he begins with a tall and even stance. Showed natural strength in swing, with quick hands, and pull side power. He hits into a firm front side with explosive bat speed through the hitting zone. Gets on-plane early as he hit balls hard to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 92mph. In live game action, he had a triple, a single and drew 2 walks. With another year of growth and development, we foresee this LSU commit having a bright future on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
