01/30/2022 - Official Player Development Membership - Jackson, MS Aubrey is a tall, thin OF with good skills. Defensively, Aubrey has active footwork, he gets good reads off the bat, and he tracks the ball well. He gets behind properly, takes solid angles, and his exchange is clean with a quick/accurate arm to his cut off man. If Aubrey can play lower, and gain more ground when throwing, solid defensive skills can get even better. At the plate, Aubrey has a square stance, a short stride, and good balance. He has quick hands, a short/direct barrel, and he hits line drives. Added barrel accuracy, and more lower 1/2 will help hitting numbers spike.

01/12/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Jackson, MS Aubrey is an athletic, OF who will graduate in 2026. Defensively, Aubrey has active feet, he covers ground, and he fields squarely. He has an aggressive, catches the ball at its highest point, and he throws with accuracy and momentum to his cut off man. Offensively, Aubrey has a square stance, a short stride, and a direct swing path. He can spray the ball to all fields, and he uses his lower body. Overall skill can get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
