06/06/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Austin is a physical RHP with excellent extension and finish to his stuff. His body (6'3"/200) and his arm stroke have the look of a durable prospect who can handle innings. He was aggressive with his upper 80s fastball at the BF Texas Showcase working it down in the zone and throwing a high volume of strikes with the pitch. His go-to secondary pitch was a curve that had big break and sat in the 70-72 mph range. Rounding out his stuff was a change that he doesn't throw much but shows some promise. It's easy to envision a velocity jump from Austin who has the pieces in place to be a solid starter at the next level.
