08/06/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Dublin (Columbus), OH Ayden is an athletic, 1B/OF. Defensively at 1B, he gets into a square fielding position on GB's. He comes up with a clean exchange and fires the ball on-line to his target. In the OF, he hustles hard laterally as he tracks down fly balls. He has a clean transfer and makes strong throws through his cut-off man. With the stick, Ayden has fluid rhythm to load. He takes aggressive hacks through the zone and drives pitches on a line from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
