10/03/2018 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Ayric is a coachable RHP/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic. On the mound, Ayric works with a clean arm and extends through on his release. He stays inline towards the plate and finishes square to the plate. Ayric shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 83mph. Changeup sits from 73-75mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Ayric shows active footwork and uses his speed to cover ground. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front. He gains momentum well on his throws and keeps them accurate with good carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an atheltic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with explosive bat speed which leads to loud contact and line drives. With three more years to develop, Ayric has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

09/16/2018 - College PREP - Boise, ID Ayric is an athletic RHP/OF prospect who will graduate in 2021. On the mound, Ayric gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through on his release, staying inline towards the plate. Ayric shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 88mph with good arm side run. Slider sits from 74-79mph with sharp 11-5 break. Changeup ranges from 74-77mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Ayric shows active footwork and is aggressive attacking the ball. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and hits from a strong front side. He produces fast bat speed through the zone which leads to strong pop to his pull side. Overall, Ayric is a talented prospect who should find success in this, his sophomore season.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
