Barrett is a tall RHP/3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. On the mound, Barrett gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Barrett shows a four pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 76mph. Curveball sits from 63-64mph with 11-5 break. Slider sits from 68-69mph with some movement. Changeup sits from 65-68mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Barrett shows fluid footwork and is agile moving to his glove side. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws consistent with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He gets back into his load well and produces solid gap to gap pop. Overall, Barrett is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

Barrett is a coachable RHP/3B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. On the mound, Barrett gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, finishing with a controlled landing. Barrett shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph. Breaking ball sits from 64-66mph with late 11-5 break. Striding inline towards the plate can help Barrett improve as a pitcher. In the field, Barrett starts in an athletic ready position and shows active footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate to his target. Barrett can improve defensively by increasing his lateral range. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance with his hands held high. He gets his hands activated in his load and drives through well with his lower half, leading to gap to gap pop. Working a smoother rhythm into his load can help Barrett improve as a hitter. Overall, Barrett is a solid prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Barrett is a tall and long 2020 RHP/3B. On the mound Barrett gathers over the rubber well, separating his hands on time. He has a clean arm action and creates good direction to the target with intent. Barrett shows a mix of 3 pitches FB, CB, CH. The FB ranges from 73-79 with some armside run. The CB has 12-6 gradual break at 65-68. The CH is 67-70 with FB arm speed and some armside run. At 3B, Barrett shows quick and fluid feet with agile range. He gets into a good fielding position and fields backhands well making accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, Barrett sets up in a square stance and is aggressive to the baseball. Generating a better lower half should allow him to drive the ball more consistently. Barrett will continue to improve with experience, and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Barrett is an athletic 2020 2-way prospect with a solid frame. At the hot corner, Barrett is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and plays through his backhand. He has a clean exchange, good footwork on double plays, and makes strong throws around the diamond. At the plate, Barrett starts in a tall and open stance. He swings with intent, makes consistent contact, and gets his hands through the ball. on the bump, Barrett gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and stays squared toward his target. He works north to south and gets over the front side. He has a plus change up and gets good spin on his breaking ball. Barrett will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Barrett is an athletic and talented 2-way prospect. At 1B, Barrett is on time with his prep step, he reads the ball off the bat, and he works off the bag well. He presents a low/early glove and has good footwork to the bases. At the plate, Barrett starts in a tall stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and creates separation. He attacks the inside part of the ball and drives the ball to all fields. On the bump, Barrett gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and has a controlled landing. He works both sides of the plate with his fastball and has good run on his changeup. Barrett will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
