11/16/2008 - College PREP - Monmouth, OR Ben is an OF with a tall, strong, and athletic looking body that resembles Dante Bichette. Foot speed is average and does need to get on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness. He reads balls well off the bat, taking proper first steps in taking proper routes and angles in tracking down balls in the outfield. He does need to work to get behind balls more, playing through with momentum to target. Arm strength is above average through a plus, plus arm action. He stays behind and through the baseball with his feet and body on his throws. He can get rid of the ball quicker by speeding up transfer and a strict long toss program will aid in building more arm strength. He is athletic displaying near above average defensive abilities. At the plate, Cramlet has solid average ability with well above average power. Hands are direct to and through the baseball, generating plus, plus bat speed. He is explosive as the ball jumps off his bat when centered. He has a chance to drive the baseball. Ben has a ton of raw potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.
