11/06/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Plano (DFW), TX Benjamin is a RHP prospect who will graduate in 2025. Tall frame athletic build with strength present. A right-handed pitcher, has long levers and a projectible frame. He shows good rhythm to his delivery with good direction to towards the plate. Easy delivery with ability to repeat it and keeps his eyes on target. He separates his hands on-time as he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and has a quick/clean arm stroke. Throws a FB that was up to 83mph with arm side run and plus command. He mixes in a 10/4 shaped slider that flashes tight spin, and a changeup with some tailing action that he throws with FB arm speed. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Benjamin having opportunities to pitch at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
