Benjamin is a promising catch and throw guy that also pitched in his first outing with Baseball Factory. Defensively, he was flexible to sit, received with a soft glove, and had a clean exchange to throw. He was quiet with his actions, tracked the ball in and flashed pops in the 2.2 range. He has good projection as he continues to work on his quickness and arm strength. Offensively, he tracked to contact, had good balance in his stance, and a middle approach. He needs to work on boosting rhythm to be less restricted with his lower half, adding pop and fluidity. On the hill, he threw his FB from 66-71, spun a 10/4 CB from 59-61 and showed a CH with sink from 61-66. He was athletic on the bump, gathered himself well, had a clean arm swing back, and finished chest over front knee. All in all - Benjamin is a player to watch down the road as he progresses through high school.
