10/14/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures South Blake is an imposing figure on the mound with a big 6'5"/215-pound frame. To make it more intimidating for hitters, he employs an old-school "rock and fire" style delivery that hides the ball well before coming at the hitter aggressively through release. It is easy to envision more velocity for Blake as he coordinates his upper and lower body well and has some arm speed. He complements his heavy fastball with a curve that has depth and a tailing change. Blake gets plane to all three offerings. He also has good finish to all of his stuff which includes a head bob that does not seem to adversely effect his command. Overall, this is a young RHP with the body and stuff of a workhorse rotation guy.
