Brad is a young C/3B that will graduate in 2015. Behind the plate, feet work in line to his target through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times show a range of 2.2-2.28 with accuracy / consistency on his throws. He needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program to continue to lower times. Receiving / blocking skills show as playable tools at the next level he continues to improve. At 3B, he utilizes his feet well in work to square ball up, displays clean hands and has life in his actions. For defensive grades to continue to improve, he needs to play through balls more and present hands out front. At the plate, Hagerich shows a balanced approach with rhythm. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He has life in his swing with hitting grades improving as he learns to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to load more and use his lower half. With 3 years to further develop, Brad has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
