01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 14-18) Bradden is a very talented 2-way player who shined during his time in Arizona. This skilled/versatile athlete can make things happen in many aspects of the game. At SS, he has active prep moving lightly on the balls of his feet. He moves fluidly from right to left through the GB picking the ball with soft/sure hands. He make the plays to his right and left look easy. Transfer is quick with a cannon of an arm (93 mph) zipping the ball on a line across the diamond. Offensively, he has a balanced/athletic setup with strong separation. He whips the barrel through the zone with authority and squares it up with power. Pitcher's had a difficult time throwing to him. He went an impressive 5 for 10 with 3 singles, a double, and a HR. He will fit nicely in a clean-up type role in the batting order where he'll be a run producer. On the mound, Kennard shows a solid mound presence. He drives downhill off of the rubber and repeats his delivery well. FB has good run, topping out at 80 mph. Curveball shows 10/4 shape with late break - proving to be a solid out pitch. Kennard is fun to watch and has a very high ceiling. His tools will translate well into the next level of play.
