02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (MS - East) Bradford is an athletic, well built 2025 SS/RHP. Athletic ability on the diamond shines through as he showcased big time metrics both on the mound, at the plate and across the diamond defensively. Arm Velocity rang in at 80mph, Bat Exit Velo of 80mph and a FB on the mound touching 82mph. Impressive numbers for a 2025 player. Defensively he works through the ball well, has plus range, and has a clean exchange. On the mound, overpowered hitters with a plus FB, impressive 11-5 CB (65-67mph) and a Changeup (69-71mph) that baffled hitters. Has a feel for his entire pitch mix and looks to excel as a RHP. At the plate, has loud bat speed, drives the baseball to all fields and stays athletic, balanced and works with good rhythm. As he matures look for Curtis to emerge as a legit 2 way player.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Bradford is an athletic and talented 2-way prospect that has made several adjustments in a year. At SS, Bradford fields the ball in front of his body, he has a quick exchange, and gets into a strong throwing position. Continuing to be on time with his prep step, and improving his first step quickness will improve his range to the ball. At the plate, Bradford starts in a relaxed stance, he loads his hands back into the drive position, and he makes consistent hard contact. He has a middle approach and attacks the inside part of the ball but he needs to continue to rotate his lower half. On the bump, Bradford gathers over the rubber, he separates on time, and has a loose arm action. He throws all three pitches for strikes and works off his fastball. He needs to continue to ride his back leg down hill and have a stronger glove side. Bradford will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

12/27/2018 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Bradford is an athletic and talented 2025 2-way prospect that was eager to learn. At the hot corner, Bradford starts in a squared position, has a clean exchange, and makes the routine play. He needs to be one time with his prep step, anticipate the ball off the bat, and improve his first step to the ball. At the plate, Bradford starts in a tall stance, loads his hands back, and keeps a middle approach. He needs to keep a quiet head, attack the inside part of the ball, and create backside drive with his lower half. Continuing to keep his head down at contact and top hand on the bat longer will prevent him from opening up his front shoulder. On the bump, Bradford has good mound presence and attacks both sides of the plate. He gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and works downhill. He needs to continue to use his change up and drive his backside toward the plat when throwing. Bradford will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

09/02/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Troy (Albany), NY Bradford is an athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays 3B. On the mound, Bradford has a clean arm circle, he keeps his eyes on target, and has good direction toward the plate. He gets good extension through, has solid glove side lead, and competes in the zone with nice control. At 3B, Bradford has fluid/active feet, firm hands, and a clean exchange with carry and consistency across the diamond. At the plate, Bradford has a tall set-up, good balance, and solid bat speed. He swings in good rhythm, he can spray to all fields, and he uses his lower body. Bradford can improve overall skills with work on the following.

1. Exchange
2. Hands
3. Play lower
Pitching
1. Separation
2. Finish
3. CB
Offense
1. Loosen grip

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
