07/10/2022 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (HS)
Bradley is a 2022 OF out of Thompson, PA who improved his skills during the Cape Cod Training and Competition. In the OF, he takes aggressive routes to the baseball, with active feet, and showed ability to make routine plays. howed ability to pick out hops and fields the ball out front with a clean exchange. Creates good momentum on his throws as he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and arm velocity up to 81mph. At the plate, he sets up in an athletic and even stance with comfortable hands. He showed athletic actions at the plate with natural juice in his swing. A short/compact swing with a fast barrel through the hitting zone. Hit balls to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 90mph during his round of BP. In live game action, Bradley reached base on an RBI single and a base on ball. Overall, Bradley is a solid player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field. We look forward to seeing what he does at the next level at Keystone.
04/24/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Binghamton, NY
Bradley continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. He did show in the OF for the first time at the event. Behind the dish, he presents a firm mitt, sticking pitches in the zone. He uses his body through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.30. Times will continue to drop as builds more arm strength through a long toss program. In the OF, he displays smooth actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes/angles in tracking down balls. He needs to work to get behind and play through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness (7.10 60 time) in covering ground. At the plate, power potential has improved, now showing well above average through a closed setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to improve as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Bradley as he finishes up his senior year.
09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS)
Bradley is a class of 2022 Catching prospect out of Thompson, PA. Behind the plate, he does a good job centering the baseball when blocking. Receives well and works his hands softly to the baseball. At the plate, he showed power potential and had exit velos up to 88 MPH. Showed a good approach in game and had competitive at bats. Bradley is a talented player that we expect to see again in the future.

Bradley is a C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Cape Cod Select Training & Competition. Behind the dish, Bradley covers up well when blocking and keeps dirt balls in front of him. He tracks the ball into his glove and has a clean exchange, making strong/accurate throws through the 2B bag. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He rotates his core through his swing and drives the ball from gap to gap. Overall, Bradley is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
09/04/2020 - HS All-Region Tournament
Bradley continues to shine on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a clean glove sticking balls in the zone. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls out front. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.40 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a crouched setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.
08/20/2020 - Summer Pro Training Experience - NY (HS)
Bradley continues to work hard on his skills. At the plate, he improved his hitting/power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact with power showing best to the pull side. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer/exchange. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.37. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and presents a soft mitt out front. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down quicker. Bradley is a coachable player who has upside on the diamond.
02/22/2020 - Baseball Factory Mid-Atlantic Combined Skills Training - Columbia, MD (Ages 14-18)
Bradley showed some nice improvements and continues to work to be a better player. At the plate, his exit velo jumped nicely and he shows some power potential. He swings on-plane against a firm front side at contact. He shows the ability to make hard, consistent contact. Behind the plate, he is very coachable and works to get better. He has a low receiving stance and shows a pretty good release on throws. He can work to let the ball travel a little more, rather than reaching for the ball. Overall, Cottrell continues to show aptitude and wants to get better. Good to see.
07/08/2019 - Baseball Factory Cleveland All Star Experience (Ages 14-18)
Bradley continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the plate, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.62. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Hands are soft/sure and he sticks balls in the zone but will benefit by improving hip flexibility. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, but needs to get his body down sooner. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work to and through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a team player, coachable, and plays the game hard.
02/23/2019 - Mid Atlantic Regional Pitching & Catching Weekend (Ages 14-18)
Bradley is an athletic and talented 2022 catching prospect that was eager to learn and made several adjustments throughout the weekend. Behind the dish, Bradley needs to continue to have a balanced primary and athletic secondary stance. He starts very staggered and should start with his feet even. When throwing, he replaces his feet, but needs to continue to create momentum in his lower half, exchange the ball in front of his chest, and gain ground with his right foot. When blocking, Bradley tucks his chin. Creating an angle over the ball with his chest and getting his legs wider on the ground will put him in a stronger blocking position. When receiving, he sees the ball into his glove but needs to continue to work behind the ball and minimize his post pitch movements with his glove. Bradley will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
11/08/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City (Ages 14-18)
Bradley is a hard-working and athletic 2022 Catching prospect. Behind the dish, Bradley tracks the ball into his glove and works behind the ball. He needs to continue to be in a balanced primary and athletic secondary stance. Leading with his glove and getting into a strong foundation with his lower half will allow him to control balls with his chest when blocking. Exchanging balls in front of his body and creating momentum in his lower half will allow him to have a quicker release on the ball. At the plate, Bradley starts in a tall stance, rotates his hip to the ball, and is aggressive on fastballs. He needs to continue to load his hands back into the drive position, attack the inside part of the ball, and keep his head down at contact. Bradley has a good baseball IQ and needs to continue to show those leadership skills behind the plate. He will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
