08/23/2020 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Stockton (Sacramento), CA Bradley continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body during the blocking process, but needs to work to get down sooner. Pop times showed in the 2.79 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting abilities have improved through an athletic setup. He is aggressive as he attacks balls through a level swing path. Hands are loose and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/17/2020 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Bradley showed good athleticism in all aspects of his game during his last workout in Arizona. Behind the plate, Bradley has a presentable glove, he sits in low, and his hands are soft. He deadens the ball softly, tracks well to his glove, and he throws with an accurate arm to 2nd base. On the mound, Bradley has a good mound presence, a loose/clean arm action, and he lands with good direction toward home plate. He has good velocity, finishes completely, and he attacks hitters aggressively. At the plate, Bradley has a square/athletic stance, comfortable hands, and a good swing path. He has fast bat speed, a rhythmic swing, and he can hit the ball the other way.

11/09/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Fremont (San Jose), CA Bradley is a young, 2-way player who catches and pitches. Behind the plate, Bradley has quick feet, agile movements, and he sits in athletically. He has firm hands, blocks and receives well, and throws with a quick release to 2nd base. Pop times were a low as 2.68 seconds. On the mound, Bradley has good balance and a clean arm circle. He separates his hands on time, has good glove side lead, and finishes in a good fielding position. At the plate, Bradley has a tall stance, a short stride, and good balance. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
