10/13/2021 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Brady is a coachable class of 2025 catching prospect out of Harleysville, PA. He's a hard worker who hustled throughout the event and was a team player. Behind the plate, he shows a good ability to keep his feet in line and created power by staying in his legs to throw down. Throws to 2B were as low as 2.03 seconds. When receiving he showed firm hands and good ability to frame pitches. Showed lateral movement when blocking and centered the baseball. Throughout the Fall Classic he was vocal behind the plate and stole strikes for his staff. At the plate, he showed a good ability to track and keep his head on the ball. Showed smooth rhythm and consistent timing. Did a good job barreling the baseball consistently and had a direct bat path to the zone. Found multiple barrels in game and had exit velos up to 78 MPH. Brady is a good player that has 4 more years to continue to develop.

02/13/2021 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Dolder is a hard worker who just continues to progress on the diamond. This skilled backstop showed well both offensively and defensively at the workout. As a hitter, he stands in with a balanced/square stance with fluid rhythm to load. Quick hands fire the barrel aggressively as he engages his lower 1/2 and creates consistent hard contact. He squares the ball up and hits hard line-drives. Behind the plate, he sits in athletically with quiet/simple actions. Lateral actions are quick as he gets around and centers pitches in the dirt off of his chest. Transfer to throw is clean with pop times now at 2.20. Brady (only a 2025 grad) has a solid all-around skill-set with a very bright future ahead in the game.

01/17/2021 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Brady continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing and shows a feel for the barrel.

08/07/2020 - Advanced Analytics Training - Columbia, MD Brady is a solid player who works very hard to develop on the diamond. At our Advanced Analytics Training event, he showcased some very nice movement patterns. Swing path was solid, lower 1/2 worked and he made solid contact. He sequences his body well during the swing, looked to have some lower 1/2 explosiveness but he needs to continue to use it more effectively. Once he unlocks some of his built in flexibility, the exit velos should start to jump way up. Behind the plate he has a great feel for the ball and his receiving is top notch. Glove technique is clean and he moves very well laterally to block. The small things matter and Brady excels at the small mechanical facets to his game which will bode well as he naturally matures and gets bigger, faster and stronger.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
