11/21/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Irvine (Los Angeles), CA Brady continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through with his body. Hands are clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter but projects best as a RHH. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

11/08/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Brady is a versatile 2B/OF prospect who loves to play the game. As a switch-hitter, Brady has similar abilities showing slight better from the left-side. He has a square setup with firm front side and his weight in the back of his stance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and short stride. He has an on-plane swing path producing square contact. Brady is a contact type hitter who has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. In the field, Brady plays with a quick first step and effective footwork to cover good ground. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a low position. Brady works around the baseball and has a clean exchange. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Brady shows consistent throws across the diamond and is developing arm strength. Overall, Brady has a solid approach on both sides of the ball and potential to get even better.

04/15/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Costa Mesa (Los Angeles), CA Brady is a young, 2-way player who plays 2nd base and OF. In the INF, Brady has efficient footwork, soft hands, and he fields in an athletic position. He fields smoothly, has a feel for the backhand, and throws with consistency from a short arm action to his target. In the OF, Brady has active feet, he fields low, and has a clean transfer with momentum toward his target. Offensively, Brady is a switch hitter who is better from the left side. He has a tall set-up, good load, and can spray to all fields. From the right, Brady has a still head, a middle approach, and he creates some backspin on the ball. Overall skills can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
