05/25/2013 - Little League® Experience - S. Williamsport Brady is a young player who always plays hard and competes. In the outfield, he uses his speed and his soft hands to make plays. He fields the ball out in front and throws are stronger when he works through the baseball. He can continue to improve by increasing his foot speed and range. In the infield, he has an athletic fielding position and soft hands, but needs to focus more on getting in front of the baseball. He has a short arm action with a 3/4 slot. He can work on squaring up to the baseball, fielding it out in front and improving lateral movement. On the mound, he challenges hitters by working fast and throwing strikes. He has good arm action and balance and he fields his position well, although he falls off towards first base. He can improve his mechanics by keeping his front hip and shoulder closed longer. At the plate, he has a tall athletic stance and consistently puts the barrel on the ball. He has a good idea but he would benefit from shortening up his swing/quicker bat speed and getting his lower half through every time. Overall, Brady is a competitor who plays the game best when he's aggressive.
