Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 3BPosition Projection

12/17/2023 - National Showcase - Detroit, MI Brady is a solid 5ft 10/190 3B in the 2025 class. In the field, he has a feel for the position and plays with high energy. He has solid pre-pitch movements and centers his body to the baseball. Gains a squared fielding position with excellent glove presentation. His field to release actions are clean and he gets rid of the baseball quickly from a low 3 qtr. slot. Arm plays at 78 and he is accurate to his targets. Working to cut down the distance and attack the ball will allow him to use his internal clock and beat the green runners down the line. At the plate, he shows solid rhythm and his timing is smooth. Stays inside his feet well and generates squared contact. Creates production to the pull side and working to trust his hands will allow him to see the ball longer and create full field production. Overall, Brady is a great player with a bright future.

12/27/2022 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Brady is a 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Recruiting Classic. In the field, Brady shows efficient footwork and gets into an athletic position. He fields the ball out in front and has a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws with life through his target. Long tossing can help Brady build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He generates fast bat speed through the zone and hits against a strong front side, spraying line drives to all fields. Brady can barrel up more baseballs by working through a shorter/more level swing path. On the mound, Brady gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works inline toward the plate and finishes with a controlled landing. Brady operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 75mph. Breaking ball sits from 60-63mph with 10-4 break. Extending through his release can help Brady improve his pitch command and velocity. Overall, Brady is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

06/20/2022 - All-In Membership - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Brady is a solid, athletic, 3rd baseman who will graduate in 2025. Defensively, Brady has good pre-pitch actions, he keeps the ball in front, and he moves well to the ball. He makes plays, his exchange is clean, and he throws with momentum and a short arm action across the diamond. If Brady can quicken footwork, and field further out in front of his body, defensive numbers can improve. Offensively, Brady has an open stance, a square stride, and a rhythmic swing. He has fast bat speed, a direct barrel, and pop in his bat. A smoother load, and letting the ball travel deeper will help solid hitting get even better.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
