03/20/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Liberty Hill, TX Brady is an OF/2B who will graduate in 2023. Medium frame lean build with strength present. In the infield, he does a good job working aggressively downhill and takes good angles to the baseball. Shows active feet and presents his glove out front when fielding ground balls. He fields from a square fielding position and has a low funnel. Throws are accurate and on-line across the diamond with an arm velocity up to 76mph. In the OF, he showed ability to cover ground in all directions. He tries to work behind/through as he made high 1-hand catches. Made accurate throws through the cutoff man. At the plate, he hits from a tall and square stance. Does a good job getting his barrel directly into the zone and focuses on driving the ball up the middle. Showed good balance and a quiet head throughout his round of BP. He gets on-plane early as he squared up balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 80mph. With another year of growth and development, we foresee Brady having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
