12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Brady is a coachable C/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the West Coast Winter Classic. Behind the plate, Brady sits in a relaxed stance and tracks the ball into his glove. He gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them on the proper side of the 2B bag. He is efficient moving to block and tucks his chin well. Getting into a lower secondary stance can help Brady improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a controlled stride. He gets into a simple load and drives through well with his lower half. He barrels up the baseball well and produces solid line drives. Brady can improve as a hitter by maintaining center balance throughout his swing. On the mound, Brady gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and stays inline towards the plate. Brady shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 62mph. Breaking ball sits from 50-52mph with 11-5 break. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Brady improve as a pitcher. With four more years to develop, Brady has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
