06/13/2009 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 1 Brady is a young two-way player at SS and on the mound with a tall, thin, and athletic looking frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature and fill out. Currently, he projects best as SS where he shows off his athletic abilities. Foot speed is near above average as indicated by his 7.17 60 time and he will benefit by getting on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness for the next level. Feet are active and aggressive in coming to get and playing through ground balls with his feet and hands. Glove action is soft, clean, and sure in making all the plays, displaying solid average defensive abilities in the IF. He may be more suited for 3B at the next level. Arm strength is solid average and he must get on a strict long toss program to aid in further developing more arm strength, raising velocities. At the plate, hitting abilities are near above average with solid average power. He works to keep hands inside the baseball, utilizing all fields as he shows a solid feel for the barrel. He was 2 for 8 at the event with a 2B. On the mound, fastball is flat, sitting at 74-78 mph. Breaking ball displays an 11/4 shape with tight spin and late depth. Changeup shows average feel for. Stock on the mound will rise as more arm strength is developed. With 2 years to further develop, Brady has potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
