07/27/2016 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Brady is a strong catcher who will graduate in 2017. Behind the plate, he does the little things well, popping up to throw quickly, gaining ground but staying low, and using a quick release with a 4 seam grip to zip the ball to 2nd base. On balls in the dirt, he does a good job of working around the ball and getting down to deaden the ball and block consistently. Offensively, he starts with an athletic setup, followed by an on time load and an explosive swing that results in impressive power. A very gifted and tooled catcher, Brady will excel at the next level.

01/10/2016 - College PREP - San Antonio, TX Brady is a skilled RHH catcher who has a strong build (5'11"/190). Behind the plate, he sits in well with flexion and quiet actions. He receives with a soft mitt and frames well. Lateral angles are quick as he works around pitches in the dirt, centering the ball off of his chest. Transfer exchange is quick as he puts strong throws (86 mph) on the bag - pop times of 1.97. Vick is a talented catching prospect who projects well and will play at a very high level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
