01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Braeden continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his arm with impressive pop times of 2.07. Offensively, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel accuracy through a line drive approach with gap to gap pop.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Braeden is a strong C/3B prospect who continued to showcase his skills during the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. Behind the plate, Braeden presents a good target to the pitcher and tracks the ball into his glove well. He replaces his feet to throw and keep his throws strong through the 2B bag. He is efficient moving to block and centers the ball in the middle of his body. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a controlled stride. He is fluid getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He gets good extension through the ball and produces solid pop to all fields. Overall, Braeden is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his sophomore season.

09/25/2019 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Braeden is a pure catch and throw backstop who has a tremendous future on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements (6.93 60 time) allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his cannon for an arm with impressive pop times of 1.96. Offensively, he continues to shine through a closed setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel accuracy (83 mph exit velocity) with the ball coming off of his barrel will. With 3 years to further develop, Braeden has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Braeden is a C prospect who showcased his skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. Behind the plate, Braeden sits in a low primary stance and receives with a quiet glove. He gets into his secondary stance on time and shows proper footwork to throw. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate to the 2B bag. Braeden moves efficiently to block and creates good angles around the ball. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance with his hands held low. He is on time getting into a simple load and remains centered in his lower half. He rotates his core well and drives the ball to all fields. With three more years to develop, Braeden has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

09/26/2018 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Braeden continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate, feet are aggressive and active as he works in line to his target, through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times showed in the 2.20 range with times dropping as he continues to build more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a solid setup behind the dish with a soft glove action that sticks balls in the zone. Blocking skills are solid as he utilizes his body well and keeps all balls in front. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, and flashing gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 5 for 9. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

12/27/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Braeden continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the plate, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.31 with accuracy on his throws. Feet are active working in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the baseball quicker. Glove action is soft as he sticks balls well in the zone but needs to present a lower target. He uses his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner and improve his lateral movements. At the plate, power potential have improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball and has strength in his swing, displaying gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 4 for 8 with a 2B and 3B. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. Braden has an athletic catcher that will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

07/30/2017 - Interactive Video Program - River Forest (Chicago), IL Braeden is a C who will graduate in 2022. Defensively behind the plate, he sits square and presents a low target. He explodes his feet up to throw and has a clean transfer with the ball. With the stick, this RHH shows a balanced setup. He takes aggressive hacks through the zone and gets extension as he drives pitches to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
