07/17/2022 - Baseball Factory Los Angeles All Star Experience (Ages 14-18) Braeden continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the All-Star Classic. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Throws are accurate with online carry to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

07/10/2022 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (HS) Braeden is an athletic 2022 RHP/OF who showcased his ability at the Cape Cod Training and Competition. In the OF, he showed athletic actions with quick feet and good body control at baseball. Closes distance on batted balls as he works behind/through the ball. Good reads off bat enable him to move well in all directions. Made accurate throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with good carry, and an arm velocity up to 91mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance with loose/comfortable hands. He showed a simple/repeatable swing with good barrel control. A flat barrel path enables him to hit hard line drives consistently into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 94mph during BP. At the event, he injured his leg and we wish him a speedy recovery. On the mound, he has simple and repeatable delivery. He has a clean arm stroke and strides in line. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 86mph with good arm side run, and a 10/4 shaped breaking ball that flashes good depth. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Braeden on the baseball field.

09/30/2020 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Braeden is a coachable OF/RHP prospect who showed well during the Arizona Fall Classic. In the field, Braeden is aggressive attacking the ball and works behind fly balls well. He creates momentum on his throws and makes accurate, strong throws through his target. At the plate, Braeden shows great raw power from the right side (93mph exit velo). He gets his hands activated in his load and hits against a strong front side, producing plus pull side power. On the mound, Braeden gathers over the rubber and works with a quick arm. He stays inline toward the pate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Braeden shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 81mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 69-72mph with sharp 9-3 break. Overall, Braeden is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
