07/24/2019 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Braham continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and he is a top prospect on the diamond. Defensively at 1B, he shows active prep with fluid actions. He works around the GB and through it as he gains ground toward his target. Footwork around the bag is solid and he is a quality receiver. Exchange is clean with strong throws. Backhand is smooth with a quick release. At the plate, he has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Barrel is whipped through the zone (94 mph exit velocity) as he connects with strength. The ball jumps off of his barrel as he crushes it to the gaps. Braham big upside and with the makings of a solid 2020 draft pick.

04/14/2019 - College PREP - Costa Mesa (Los Angeles), CA Braham is an athletic 1B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At 1B, Braham shows efficient footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He fields with a firm glove and makes a clean exchange, keeping his throws consistently on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with plus bat speed and good extension, leading to loud contact and great gap to gap power. Overall, Braham is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

07/18/2018 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 16U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Braham is an athletic 1B/RHP who shows a bright future on the diamond with the makings of a special type player at the next level. Offensively, he has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel explosion (89 mph exit velocity) with the ball coming off well of his barrel. Defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground, displaying range (7.19 60 time). Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with zip (87 mph velocity) to his target. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 80-84 mph with arm side run. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Braham is a prospect on the field and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
