08/06/2012 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Braiden is a young, thin, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Braiden presents his glove, he makes the routine plays, and his exchange is clean. He has a quick release and throws with accuracy across the diamond. A wider fielding base, quicker feet, and added arm strength will help defense get better. On the mound, Braiden has good balance, he finishes well, and he is in the zone with his pitches. He will need to lengthen his arm action and sharpen his off-speed in order to improve mound effectiveness. At the plate, Braiden has a good swing path, he stays inside the ball, and he keeps his head down. He can spray to all fields and he uses his lower 1/2 well. Less movements, keeping his hips closed, and added bat speed will spike hitting numbers.
