11/10/2019 - College PREP - Midland, TX Brandon continues to show good speed and solid defensive skills. He is a solid/athletic, OF with quick feet, firm hands, and a strong arm. Brandon has athletic actions, makes plays consistently, and throws with accuracy and plus carry through to his cut off man. Offensively, Brandon has an open stance, he loads well, and swings aggressively. He makes hard/level contact and uses his lower body well. Looser actions and better timing will help offense spike.

07/26/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Brandon is an athletic 2020 OF prospect that continues to improve each time we see him. He worked hard each day and made good adjustments each day. In the OF, Brandon is on time with his prep step, he anticipates the ball off the bat, and creates angles to the ball. He stays down on ground balls, he plays through ground balls and fly balls. He has a solid arm for the position and knows where to go with the ball at all times. At the plate, Brandon starts in a tall stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. He shows confidence at the plate, he hunts the fastball, and has a middle approach. He has fast hands but needs to continue to get to balance at contact and create backside drive with his lower half. He does a good job on the bases and runs hard at all times. Brandon has a good baseball IQ and we hope to see him continue to improve.

05/12/2019 - College PREP - Justin (DFW), TX Brandon is a 2020 outfielder that shows the ability to cover ground in the outfield. In the outfield Brandon takes good angles and shows the ability to make adjustments on the fly. His hands are soft and makes quick and clean exchanges showing strong online throws to all bags. At the plate, Brandon sets up in an athletic stance. He strides on time with a smooth rhythm and gets the barrel on plane with the pitch. Brandon continues to show improvements on the diamond and is continuing to develop himself into a college prospect.

03/10/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Plainview (Lubbock), TX Brandon is an athletic and talented 2020 OF prospect. In the OF, Brandon is on time with his prep step, he anticipates the ball off the bat, and has a good first step to the ball. He works behind the ball and creates momentum with his lower half when throwing to the plate. At the plate, Brandon starts in an athletic and open stance. He loads his hands back into the drive position, attacks the inside part of the ball, and has a good attack angle to the ball. He has fast hands and drives the ball to all fields. Brandon will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see him continue his progress in the future.

11/11/2018 - College PREP - Midland, TX Brandon is an athletic and talented 2020 OF prospect. In the OF, Brandon start in an athletic stance and is on time with his prep step. He reads the ball off the bat, has good routes, and works behind the ball. At the plate, Brandon starts in a tall stance and gets his front foot down on time. He keeps his barrel on plane with the ball and shows the ability to pull the ball. Brandon will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
