10/04/2015 - College PREP - Wichita, KS Brandon is a R/R C/OF who graduates in 2018. With the bat, this RHH shows a patient approach as he lets the ball travel into the zone. He gets into a loaded position and maintains centered balance. He takes a hack on pitches he likes as he connects and drives in back up the middle of the field. Swinging on a shorter/more direct path will result in increased power. Behind the dish, Brandon sits in well tracking pitches into his mitt. He works hard laterally to smother pitches in the dirt. Exchange is clean with accurate throws down to 2B (pop times of 2.28). In the OF, he shows active footwork with solid routes/angles tracking down fly-balls. He works behind the ball, secures it with 2-hands and works in-line toward his target. Gaining more ground through the ball will help to get more into his throws. Brandon has upside with still time to develop.
