07/11/2014 - 2014 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Team One South Brandon showed subtle/sure hands at short in his most recent showcase with Baseball Factory. His feet moved efficiently to the ball and his body was under control to make plays with his hands in front. He kept his body momentum going to throw to his target with some life. He was simple to catch and throw and could repeat with ease. Offensively, he got the bat to and through the zone on a direct path after getting his hands activated to launch. He had flashes of very good hit and power ability, but needs to work on repeating with more control of the barrel. All in all - Brandon is a good player with projection in the middle at the next level.

06/08/2014 - National Tryout - Atlanta, GA Brandon continues to impress on the diamond. With the glove, he moves athletically around and into position fielding with clean actions. He moves well laterally and can make the tough plays in the hole. Offensively, Brandon is aggressive and steps up to the plate to hit. Barrel delivery is quick to and through the zone as he connects and drives the ball. On the bump, FB now ranges from 81-84 (with the ability to hit 87 mph). He works downhill and in-line, throwing strikes. Justice is a talented player who will find success in the game.

07/31/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Brandon is a 2015 SS/RHP that has an athletic build. At short, he makes plays, gets in an athletic fielding position and has decent arm strength. Offensively, he has an athletic setup, strong lower and showed a gap-to-gap approach with a line-drive swing path. Controlling his head and being more direct with the barrel will increase his barrel accuracy and bat speed. Brandon jumped on the bump to throw without throwing in the bullpen, and showed a competitive presence. He gets himself to a good balance point with his eyes on the target and stayed directional. In all, Justice projects best as a SS, or 3B at the next level.

06/02/2013 - College PREP - Atlanta, GA Brandon is a 2015 SS with a solid 5'11"/175 lbs build. Defensively, he has sure hands and a quick release. His fluid footwork gets him to balls athletically and allows him to make throws with carry. Keeping his hips low in his fielding position will help secure the ball. Offensively, he has good barrel accuracy and generates decent bat speed. He has a line-drive approach and good balance throughout his swing. Staying short to the ball will help increase his bat speed and hit numbers. We see Brandon as being a sound SS when he increases his flexibility and agility.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
