10/20/2019 - College PREP - Conroe (Houston), TX Brandon increased radar velocity to 83 MPH and exit velocity to 79 MPH during his last workout with The Factory. He is an athletic OF with efficient footwork, a presentable glove, and he covers ground well. He fields aggressively, catches the ball at its highest point, and throws with consistency from a long arm action to his cut off man. Not drifting and playing more through the ball can help OF skills get better. At the plate, Brandon has a tall stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has fast bat speed, strong/quick hands, and he works the ball gap to gap. A shorter stride and swing path, along with sharper barrel accuracy will help spike hitting numbers.

11/25/2018 - College PREP - Pearland (Houston), TX Brandon is an athletic OF prospect who will graduate in 2021. In the field, Brandon shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He gains momentum well on his throws and keeps them accurate and on-line to his target. Making a quicker exchange can help Brandon improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He takes an aggressive swing and drives the ball well. Brandon can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. Overall, Brandon is a solid prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.

11/19/2017 - College PREP - Pearland (Houston), TX Brandon is a young, projectable OF prospect with the frame and skills that should lead to impressive development. He makes all the plays in the outfield with clean hands and feet to get to the ball and field cleanly. He has great energy on the field which leads to the range to make tough plays, fielding with firm hands to keep everything in front. He has feel to get around the ball and transfer quickly to throw accurately. At the plate, he shows an aggressive approach looking for a pitch to drive. He loads to a power position and strides on time to launch on a level path through the zone and hit the ball gap to gap. Using his lower half more will lead to more bat speed and hard hit balls. Brandon is a prospect we look forward to watching continue his development.

11/20/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Pearland, TX Brandon is a 2-way player at the C/OF position. Behind the plate, he presents a low target. He tracks each pitch into his glove as he works hard centering low pitches off of his chest. In the OF, he fields Gb's in an athletic position. He gets behind on fly balls with a clean exchange to throw. At the plate, Brandon takes aggressive hacks through the zone. He looks to do damage as he creates hard contact with each pitch. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Outfield
1. Quicker footwork
2. Soft hands
3. Accurate throws
Catching
1. Soft glove
2. Quicker exchange to throw
3. Arm strength
Offense
1. Athletic setup
2. Develop a load
3. Bat speed

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
