01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Brandon is an athletic RHP that will graduate in 2016 with a promising future on the mound. Delivery is sound / repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Arm strength is well above average as indicated by his top velocity of 83 mph. Fastball shows a range of 81-83- mph with arm side run on a downhill plane. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break and show as a quality pitch that will get outs at the next level. Command / control is outstanding as well as he locates well to both sides of the plate, pounding the zone. Brandon has a upside on the mound and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his abilities on the mound.

09/19/2014 - 2014 Under Armour Fall Classic Upperclass Participant Very good hands at third base, makes the routine play and makes spectacular plays, had an excellent back and play and a diving line drive catch. Good plate discipline with simple and quick actions. Runs well has good instincts on the bases, stole two bases in the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
