06/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Brandon is an athletic RHP/OF who is a prospect on the diamond. On the bump, delivery is sound/repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 87-94 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a plus feel for with sinking action. Command/control is outstanding as he locates well to both sides of the plate. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field. Brandon has big upside, getting looks from pro scouts with his abilities on the bump and maybe even as a 2-way guy.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
